By Jarrett Kruse
Back pain, especially lower back pain, is an extremely common ailment, aggravated by how we spend most of our time. Spending a lot of time sitting at a desk or computer, getting inadequate exercise, and sudden strain are all causes of lower back pain. It’s important to give low back pain your immediate attention to get a proper diagnosis and avoid further injury. Symptoms of low back pain such as pain down the leg, pain with movement, or pain accompanied by other symptoms can indicate a variety of conditions, each calling for a low back pain treatment that may include different components depending on the underlying cause. Chiropractics, acupuncture, and medication can all ease lower back pain as well as upper back pain, but it’s important to treat not only the pain but the cause.
